Seitdem haben sich Mirko Ludwig (Tenor), Florian Sievers (Tenor), Christoph Behm (Bariton) und Tim Schwarzenberger (Bass) ein breites A-Cappella-Repertoire erarbeitet und dieses bei verschiedenen Konzerten und Auftritten im norddeutschen Raum präsentiert. Durch die Jahre im Knabenchor musikalisch geprägt, führte der Weg alle vier Ensemblemitglieder zum Lübecker Kammerchor „I Vocalisti" unter der Leitung von Hans-Joachim Lustig, mit dem sie zahlreiche Preise gewannen, u. a. beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb und bei internationalen Kammerchorwettbewerben wie Marktoberdorf, Tolosa (Spanien) und Cork, Irland. die jahrelange gemeinsame Singerfahrung in unzähligen Konzerten, auf nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben und Festivals legte schließlich den Grundstein für das vierköpfige Vokalensemble. die Gruppe beschäftigt sich mit fast allem, was die internationale A-Cappella-Literatur für ihre Besetzung h... display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

We are a historic symphonic chorus that continues to play a vibrant role in the cultural life of the National Capital Region. With approximately 100-115 auditioned members and a professional core of 12 voices,the choir's repertoire spans 6+ centuries . In addition to our annual subscription series, we sing with both the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra . The choir has made five international tours to Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom and Ireland . Following an extensive search which attracted a roster of highly- accomplished choral directors, the impressive and charismatic young conductor and keyboard artist, Jordan de Souza, was appointed Artistic director and Principal Conductor in July, 2013.
