BUMC Jazz Choir 2008 members, The winners of The IKSV Young Jazz 2008, who have boosted Their success by attending to The most prestigious a cappella contest in The world, 'Vokal Total', in both pop and jazz categories and won 2 'Silver Diplom's and also have sung many times in many festivals such as The 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival and The Akbank 18th Jazz Festival.
They also gave special concerts with Sertab Erener (ESC 2003 winner). The group carries on with Their professional musical careers under The name “Istanbul Essence”.
In July 2010, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir returned back to Turkey with 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 3 gold diplomas from The 'WORLD CHOIR GAMES' in China which is being shown as The biggest and The most prestigious choral music event, being held with nearly 40000 participations from 90 countries.

At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subs... moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was The first university-based choir in Indonesia.
At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national choir competitions and repeatedly won The first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of The most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, The choir has been given The chance to perform in events attended by The President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with oTher choirs and orchestras.
In 1968 PSM-ITB organized The 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since Then The festival is held biannually and becomes The largest national choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants. Led by artistic director and conductor, Jakub Martinec, The Czech Boys Choir organization provides artistic training for boys from The age of three to adult, and consists of The professional touring SATB concert choir, The Young Men's Ensemble with conductor Jennifer Beynon Martinec, and The training choir Zpěváček, led by Simona Hlavatá. The concert choir closely cooperates with pianist Martin Fišl.
