We have fun as we build friendships with singers from many schools, sing a wide variety of music and bring joy to the community. We are ideal for singers who want more singing in their life! We are proud of our alumni singing at NOVA, NYU, JMU, UNT, BridgeWater, Longwood & Westchester.  

C6 is an auditioned acappella group comprised of singers from Chicagoland voices. When originally formed, C6 had 6 singers. However, we have fluctuated from 5 - 7 over the last few years.

"Digapoli" was the name of the small village where the workers who built the Cancano dam lived. The Cancano dam is located in Valtellina, in norther Italy. DIGAPOLI (Cancano-Valdidentro) è il nome della piccola cittadina che si era formata per ospitare i lavoratori durante la costruzione delle dighe di Cancano (Diga-Polis) Fuggì la notte a passi di cerbiatta e già in cantiere urla la sirena. This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. These dynamic and talented singers range in age from 14-25, and include young women in gr.11 and higher, and young men with changed voices. The SYC annually participates in the Family Christmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also stage an orchestra concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK. They were ecstatic to receive 8th place standing in the Mixed voices category at a festival that boasts participants from over 50 different countries.
