Our aspiration is to take township Choral singing to higher a level. We are also aiming at focusing more on Choral projects and concerts than competitions so that our singers enjoy singing and get compensated for engaging in the choir. Choir members are taught Theory and History of music for free.

It specializes in Choral and early music—notably Renaissance, Baroque, and rarely heard repertoire—and is dedicated to delivering emotionally resonant, historically informed performances. Winner of the Chorus America/ASCAP Alice Parker Award, Crescendo invites Choral singers to audition for its 22nd season.This season, our repertoire spans 16th-century motets, works by Johann Sebastian Bach, and contemporary music in the Piazzolla style, featuring the U.S. premiere of Martín Palmeri’s A Jewish Cantata (2022). Our rehearsals take place on Monday evenings starting in September at Trinity Lime Rock Lakeville, Connecticut.  less
