This concert was the culmination Of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch Of Singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all Songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight Songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com less

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increaSing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound Of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course.
We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host Of exciting things planned. Stay tuned!
We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and Sing a few baas with us! less
