It is formed by children and young people from 6 to 25 years old, who are distributed in three groups. Their activities are set out for the development of sensibility, intelligence, memory, attention, and, at the same time, contribute to achieve the feeling of working together and mutual help and the sincerity of companionship. Likewise, they begin to know the art and culture world by the music, not only polyphonie music, but also popular and modern music. During their trajectory, the choir has offered several concerts, has participated in competitions and festivals and has done tours abroad: France, Italy, Luxemburg, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia... Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! The choir performs regularly in leading choral festivals of Europe and sings under the baton of world-renowned conductors. The choir worked with Grammy© award winning composer Eric Whitacre, Nigel Short, former member of the famous British a capella band King’s Singers, Jo-Micheal Scheibe, the president of American Choral Directors Association and Volker Hempfling, among the most important living conductors of Germany. Rezonans performed with significant choirs of the world within 6 seasons by hosting them in Istanbul: Yale Schola Cantorum (conducted by Simon Carrington), Salt Lake Vocal Artists (conducted by Brady Allred) and Junges Vokalensemble Hannover (conducted by Klaus-Jürgen Etzold).
