The People’s Orchestra Charity was founded to foster community Music making into supporting those most vulnerable in our local communities with back to work or education support. Bernard’s Music featured on the Horrible ...  moreBernard Hughes’s Music has been performed at major venues in Britain and abroad and received a number of broadcasts on BBC Radio 3. A CD of his choral Music, I am the Song, was released in 2016 on Signum Classics. Bernard’s Music featured on the Horrible Histories film Bill (2015), and he co-produced the album, Not Now, Bernard & Other Stories, performed Orchestra of the Swan and Alexander Armstrong, released in February 2020. In January 2020 Bernard’s choral Music was featured in a portrait concert by the BBC Singers, and in November 2020 one of the pieces from that concert, I Sing of Love, was nominated by the Ivors Academy for an Ivors Composer Award. With Bernard's kind permission I am releasing this video of my multitrack performance of a part of his mass, dating from around 2006.  less

Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining Music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the Music closer to the people and to present the Music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All Choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival. GENERAL CONDITIONS All Choir ensembles may join one part of the Festival: Competitive or Non-competitive.  less

ANÚNA, is a unique and beautiful instrument that explores the stories of ordinary people, saints and scholars Within the songs are universal stories that are told through the landscape, the philosophy and the mythology of Ireland and beyond. Anúna created the vocal ambience of Riverdance (1994-1996), achieved a Top 10 placing on the U.K. Singles Charts while remaining at Number 1 on the Irish singles charts for eighteen weeks. In 2012 they appeared as the "Voices of Hell"on the video game Diablo 3 [Blizzard] gaining a Game Audio Network Guild nomination for the Best Original Choral performance in February 2013.
