The Choir regularly takes part in local, national and international festivals and competitions.

He organized The concerts of symphonic music and helped promote Them. For The first time, The Choir came togeTher in The evening of October 18, when about 90 Students gaThered at Riga Secondary School No 2. The testing of voices was not very strict, and of The entire enthusiastic crowd only one Student was rejected. Then, for a month, rehearsals were held, in which The voices of would-be singers were trained and made to keep in tune. After that anoTher testing was held. This time The competition was much stricter, and only 40 singers were selected. At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subs...  moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB Students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was The first university-based Choir in Indonesia. At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national Choir competitions and repeatedly won The first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of The most established Choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, The Choir has been given The chance to perform in events attended by The President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with oTher Choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized The 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since Then The festival is held biannually and becomes The largest national Choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants.
