We Sing popular songs in at least three part harmony and add performance techniques to bring them to life. A weekly hour and a half rehearsal begins with a Singing lesson and warm up that provides members with the vocal skills and techniques they need to Sing amazing songs from the world of pop, rock and musical theatre including songs from Adele, Take That, Erasure and many more favourite artists. The lessons are led by our experienced choir leaders who are professional performers themselves and who are skilled at teaching Singing and performance. Anyone can join! No experience necessary, there's no audition and members don't need to be able to read music - they don't even need to have a great voice - just a love of Singing! We do not belong to any particular geographical area or church denomination. In over 25 years, nearly 400 people from all backgrounds have sung with us - often for the first time in an English Cathedral. The number continues to grow year by year. Martin Hall, our founder, became 'Director Emeritus' in Autumn 2006 and Matthew O' Donovan took over the post of Director in his stead. Because of the way we meet, we don't require formal auditions in advance, but new Singers are expected to be excellent sight readers and to have a good choral tone.  less
