Last July, over 100 BIG Sing members flash mobbed the Maldon Tesco Store and the YouTube video has had over 16,000 views, raiSing money for Cancer Research UK. As well as community events, The BIG Sing have hosted their own sold out shows in Essex and have many more coming up this year!
As The BIG Sing grows we are continuing to reach out to more people Of all ages and backgrounds. As One was written to mark the centenary Of World War I. The Song is written for a SATB choir and is sung a cappella. It is a contemplative piece which explores themes Of togetherness in adversity and the call for peace. Its opening phrase mimics that Of the Last Post and it is intended to be sung as part Of an act Of remembrance.
