There are three main concerts during the season, typically consisting of Holiday, Classical and Pops music, each performed twice. Are you a singer dedicated to the art of choral music? Do you have other musical or singing experience, recent or years ago, and you wish to join a symphonic choral group that will challenge, delight, and satisfy you musically? Con el tiempo, ésta agrupación tuvo la necesidad de ir creciendo porque las exigencias del repertorio así lo requería, actualmente cuenta con más integrantes de diferentes profesiones la cual comparten con la pasión por la música. They take their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006. In 2011 they published their first CD, Songs of Freedom, a collection of protest songs with a strong connection to the Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” written by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and vocal interludes composed and produced by all the girls. “Broken Dream”, written by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is the first single published to launch the record.  less

The group rehearses August through November and January through April with concerts at the end of each session. The group is know for its variety in programming. Directed by Bruce Phelps, the goal of the ensemble is to provide a quality experience for singers and audiences; explore new repertoire and sing music of the masters, and perform with utmost musical integrity through a collaborative and persistent effort by all participants.  less

The organisation was set up by professional conductor, Emma Rowland, who suffers with anxiety and depression. Emma wanted to make Choirs, and singing, more accessible to everyone. During the COVID lockdown, SOS has been offering FREE virtual Choirs to the entire world. We're currently (June 2020) in 80 countries and working with thousands of singers each week. We've just launched our fourth project, an original song, ready to be made into a virtual Choir video.  less

Initially formed in 1987 simply as a means for those interested to gather together to sing...  moreThe Outer Banks Chorus is a group of 80+ singers dedicated to bringing excellent choral music of all kinds to Dare County, North Carolina and the surrounding areas. Initially formed in 1987 simply as a means for those interested to gather together to sing, more formal concerts were later organized and presented. In addition to two planned concerts a year (a Christmas concert in the Fall and a Spring concert), there are frequently requests from local organizations for appearances. For example, in the spring of 2011, the group performed at the Wright Brothers Monument for the Centennial of the Wright Brothers Glider Flight. The repertoire of the Outer Banks Chorus ranges from the Classical to Broadway, and spirituals of all kinds and in different languages. Recently the chorus has sung a number of premiere performances of pieces by contemporary composers. All are invited to hear the chorus sing exceptionally lovely and wonderful choral music.  less
