In new season the Choir continues to make up steps towards new artistic activities. The main activities of the Choir are finding the new ways to Music, its expresion and presenting new ideas, cooperation with composers and many professional Musicians. Now, the Choir Mūza is making a new image and wants to show multiplicity of the Choir Music. In its programs the Choir performes modern Music and a big part is left of Latvian classical Music as well as traditional Latvian folk-Music. The Choir Mūza was established in 1947. Its founder and leader through out many years has been maestro Leonids Vigners (1906-2001). In 1999 the Choir transferred into new direction and it became a youth Choir. From 2006 the artistic director and the main conductor is Guntis Cimiņš.  less

By participating in our Choir program, youths not only develop new talents and improve their cognitive abilities, but they also serve as mentors and positive role models for younger generations. Our unique approach promotes intergenerational collaboration and fosters a sense of community, ultimately leading to reduced youth unemployment rates and a decrease in crime rates. It was officially inaugurated in September 2011 and was widely attended by thousands of choral Music lovers across the country. The group has performed at numerous high profile functions like the international leadership awards night (tuzoya oungozi), national peace makers rally at the national theater among others. The group also embarked on a nationwide peace campaign tour which was dubbed "11.11.12 - Sing Ghana 4 peace". The Choir is noted for Music evangelism and charity projects in Ghana.
