The collective was organized in 1939 in Belostok, its first program was prepared in 1941. Now The staff of The Choir consists of gifted musicians who serve selflessly to The Great Art. The artistic side of The Choir is distinguished by The high musical culture, vivid emotionality, richness of The dynamical scale of sounding, high feeling of ensemble, purity of intonation, expression and naturality of singing and its organicity with The word. Soon, however, The weekly choir rehearsals became not only a meeting place, but also a refuge for those looking for a non-threatening and empowering environment. Over The years, The Choir has grown to include members of all races and Christian denominations, and celebrates not only The diversity of its members, but also that of its audiences. UTGC has burst onto The international scene, while continuing to serve The greater Toronto community in local concerts and university events held throughout The year, like Their community Christmas concert, and May's Gospelfest.
