Goals are to create a place for men to hone and renew their love of singing, and to provide a home in the choral community. There is an equal emphasis on musical excellence and camaraderie. Male singers age 18 and up, of all experience levels are invited to join.

Daniel studied composition with Dr. Elaine Ross and was the recipient of the 2011 Opus 7 Undergraduate Composition Award for his piece "Cain," which was premiered in February 2011 by the Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble. It is sung by Calaf, il principe ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. However, any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded. The video is an excerpt from a concert in Welshpool, UK.
