Anyone can join: we present top-quality events and invite everyone to 'come and join in' whether you are a lone tenor or a full SATB choir. As well as singing three times a year at the Royal Albert Hall (including the one-and-only 'Messiah from Scratch' each year), we also run cruises and trips abroad. What are you waiting for? Founded in 1951 by the late Richar...  moreChorus Inspira (formerly the Richard Eaton Singers) is dedicated to the enjoyment, study and performance of great choral music, to an international standard of excellence, and to fostering the appreciation of this music. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community for more than seven decades. In addition to presenting its own concerts, the choir is a regular guest of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton Ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble. It has also collaborated with other Canadian choirs in the past, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir.  less

His dream was not random scattered thoughts - it was a prophecy of the next 14 years in the nation of Egypt! Although Pharaoh had no idea what his vision meant, he clearly was troubled and sought answers from his trusted wise men...but to no avail! Present was the butler who finally remembered the Hebrew slave that had interpreted his dream 2 years before. (Spiritual application: Would Joseph have lost his faith in prison? Was he sulking in self-pity? No! He knew that God was involved in every area of his life and His wonderful plan was about to become clear...!) From this clip one can admire the Schola Cantorum Jubilate of Malta performing the most famous movement of Handel's oratorio's - Hallelujah Chorus, during Carols by Candlelight 2009. The choir and chamber orchestra was under the baton of Marouska Attard.
