It was established on July 2013 by music educator and conductor Mr. Aristeo B. Butial through The help of Their principal Mr. Willy D. Federico and head teacher of MAPEH Department Mr. Emeterio S. Vargas Jr. It became one of The pillars of performing arts in The said school promoting culture and arts through choral music. In 2015, when The Special Program in The Arts established, The group was tied up in order to utilize and serve as training ground for students majoring music with an emphasis in voice performance. From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Culture Centre. Experienced and respected pedagogues-musicians look after The musical development of The girls and artistic program. The Choir is conducted and creatively inspired by its Artistic Director and Conductor Alicja Szeluga, an educator and choral music aficionado. The Vocal Coach Marzena Michałowska, and accompanying pianist Czesław Łynsza, as well as percussionist Beata Polak complete The musical team. The SKOWRONKI Girls Choir also has programs for younger groups. The ensemble is consists of 140 girls aged between 6 and 22.
