La denominazione attuale vuole essere un richiamo all’origine del toponimo Sìnnai. Due tra le ipotesi più accreditate sulla formazione del nome del paese farebbero infatti derivare Sìnnai dal fenicio sina (rovo, luogo pieno di sterpi) o dal latino medievale sinnum (segno di confine fra i salti di due villaggi). Tali ipotesi sarebbero confermate anche dal nome del secondo villaggio che diede origine al paese: Segossini, che significherebbe per l’appunto “subito dopo Sinnai”, in quanto unione o del termine latino secus o sardo segus (traducibili entrambi con subito dopo o dietro) con il nome sina o sinnum. We aim to be the most entertaining male voice choir in the South West and for the City of Truro to be proud of us. the ethos of the choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away. We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year  less
