The Southwest Women’s Chorus is an independent organization, founded in 2000. Its goal is to provide a quality opportunity for choral singers to learn or improve their craft. The chorus sings a wide variety of Music, including classical, spiritual, folk, Broadway and old standards. The group presents two concerts each year – at Christmas, and in the Spring. It has performed with the Temecula Vintage Singers, and for the Temecula Arts in the Country Festival, as well as many local appearances for deserving organizations. The chorus rehearses and performs in the Temecula area. The chorus is one of the Resident Companies performing at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. All women are welcome, who can carry a tune and love to sing. The chorus is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with Tax ID: 20-1694150. less

In 2005 the local Council of the borough of North Down conferred the status of Borough Ambassador on Bangor Ladies Choir. This is the first conferment ever to an external Organisation outside of the Council Membership and the Choir were privileged and proud to accept this unique position. Its mission is to enrich, inspire, motivate and engage the children, not only of the church, but the entire Barracks community in sacred songs among other value oriented Musical works which have positive, uplifting and inspirational messages. It's the group's vision to inspire a life-long love for good Music and church leadership in the young singers through the pursuit and enjoyment of Musical and other artistic excellence.
Children from ages 6 to 18 residing in Accra with consent from guardians are given the opportunity to join through auditioning. Its membership currently stands at 65.
The Choir sings during communion and lead congregational singing during Sunday School anniversary. It organises celebration Musical programmes including Nativity Musicals, parents' days' celebration and children's choral Festivals.
