The Forest City Fire a cappella Chorus aims to sing interesting and challenging music with a high level of precision and expertise. It is our belief that a cappella singing can be enjoyed by people from all ages and all walks of life.

The choir's size allows it to concentrate on performing The larger major choral works to great effect. The choir has also been invited to collaborate with The Philharmonia Chorus and The BBC National Chorus of Wales on many occasions in recent years to tackle some of The choral pieces requiring even greater choral forces such as Mahler's Eighth Symphony, Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, The Dvorak Stabat Mater and La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz. The years of 2006 and 2008 were particularly successful for The group, as The 4th Choir Olympics in China and The 5th Choir Olympics in Austria brought twice The Olympic Championship of All-Male Choirs to Pécs. In 2014, The Pécs men fascinated The jury and audience again – resulting an absolute first prize in The Beijing International Competition for Choirs. As a result of The high artistic reputation, The Chorus has been invited to make tours in Europe as well as in The US, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and China.
