In his review of the “American Voices” program, Scott Cantrell of the Dallas Morning News wrote “the variety certainly displayed the ensemble’s impressive versatility. Habermann consistently got vivid performances, introspective music elegantly colored and shaped, extrovert fare delivered with great pizzazz. Individual singers got lots of solo exposure.”

Anne Frank was between the ages of 13 and 15 when she wrote her Diary, while living in a secret upstairs annex over a warehouse in Amsterdam with her family, the Van Pels family and Fritz Pfeffer. Despite the fears and frustrations she experienced in over two years of hiding from the Nazis, Anne learned how to survive, even to find beauty in small things and to hold on to her ideals.
Composer Linda Tutas Haugen writes: "My goals for this composition are to honor the life of Anne Frank and to gain a deeper understanding of what she, her family, and friends experienced during the Holocaust."

Fick) is an auditioned SATB choir of up to 65 voices with a passion for presenting excellent choral music. TBC invites professional musicians, soloists, actors and other arts organizations to join in classical choral repertoire in 3 - 4 concerts per season. TBC organizes and participates in “Messiah for the City” and in many local community events. TBC’s “Choral Scholars Program offers subsidy and training to singers aged 19 to 24. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7 to 9:30pm, September to May, usually at Kingston Road United Church. Auditions in September and January; the ability to read music and choral experience are assets.
