Joshua's Music is beloved by audiences across MN and the upper-Midwest. His Music fuses many styles and techniques; Ancient chant, Medieval organum, Russian orthodox liturgy, and the shimmering harmonies of modern choral Music, to name a few. Audience members often comment that Josh's Music is their favorite part of a From Age to Age concert, or they will ask Josh why we didn't perform another known favorite of theirs that Josh has written. Nice's Music is well suited for advanced high-school, collegiate, community and professional choirs. Joshua is accepting commissions for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. If you're interested in commissioning Joshua to write a piece for your group, and/or if you would like to purchase his Music, email: joshua_g_nice@hotmail.com or find him on facebook at:

Words & Music: Anthony Sylvestre.
Performance time: 4’45.
The song can be performed in 2 languages versions: in English/French or in English/English.
The main theme is a declaration of love.
It can be sung to either a woman or a man.
While the qualities of the beloved are listed in contemplative praise, the promise to be there in difficult times is made with tenderness and sincerity.
As we are enveloped in this loving tranquility, the voices of the choir intensify until they reach a second theme, one that is more marked and determined. This sequence entitled ”The French Dream’, introduces us to a more mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere, straight out of our childhood fairy tales.
Then, as if we had fallen asleep for a moment, the words 'Beautiful! Beautiful' resound once again, bringing us back to a reassuring reality. less

Individual song parts recorded by the choristers using their own equipment following lead videos made by our Director, Pierre. Pierre then put together the video using Final Cut Pro.
A message from the Director:
"Christmas 2020 is the first year in our 43-year history we have no live concerts, so we present this Virtual Concert of 6 carols.
I am proud of my Musical colleagues for putting these videos together. I thank them for their loyalty to our fans and their fellow choir members, and for their diligence in preparing individual performances to such a demanding degree of Musicianship.
We all share an understanding of how important it is right now to share the joy of song with the world.
Joined by my wife Holly and all the members of the Stairwell Carollers, we wish you peace and joy this Christmas season. We will perform live for you once again soon.
