In...  moreWe are a historic symphonic Chorus that continues to play a vibrant role in the cultural life of the National Capital Region. With approximately 100-115 auditioned members and a professional core of 12 voices,the Choir's repertoire spans 6+ centuries . In addition to our annual subscription series, we sing with both the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra . The Choir has made five international tours to Italy, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom and Ireland . Following an extensive search which attracted a roster of highly- accomplished choral directors, the impressive and charismatic young conductor and keyboard artist, Jordan de Souza, was appointed Artistic Director and Principal Conductor in July, 2013. The Konakovo Boys and Youth Choral School it's one of the best choral schools in RUSSIA. It caters to over 500 boys aged from 3 to 18 years.

Fast balladenhaft setzt der Sopran mit der eingängigen Melodie ein, ruhig begleitet vom restlichen Chor, um das wunderbare Ereignis der Geburt Jesu im mehrfach wieder erklingenden, gemeinsamen Alleluia zu feiern. The magic of Christmas and the incarnation of Jesus have been directly blended in the music of this moving O magnum mysterium by Chris Artley.
