The conductor is Dr Simon Lindley, Music Director of St Peter's Singers since the choir's formation in 1977. O Lord, give thy holy Spirit into our hearts, and lighten our understanding, that we may dwell in the fear of Thy name all the days of our life: that we may know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent. for more information about St Peter's Singers, including details of forthcoming concerts, recitals and services, please visit the choir's website www.stpeters-singers.org.uk and the 'St Peter's Singers of Leeds' Facebook group page.  less

This arrangement reflects a more modern interpretation of the plena with the use of the piano as accompaniment, taking rhythmic motives from salsa rythm, and the voices in the interlude imitating the trumpets and double bass from a salsa band.
