Lusardi Girelli. Since its creation, the GU CHOIR has offered multiple programmes, concerts and workshops across Goa and India, receiving excellent commentaries from audience and press alike. During the last three years, the Choir has performed at several important venues such as the Ketevan World Sacred Music Festival and the Monte Festival in Old Goa, amongst others. The Choir has collaborated with renowned artistes from India, Asia, Europe and America, such as the Cappella della Luce Ensemble (Spain), St Ephraim Choir (Hungary), Indo Portuguese Ensemble (Portugal-India), Vandalia and the Seville Chamber Choir (Spain), the Bombay Chamber Orchestra (India) and soloists like Rocío de Frutos (Spain), Leo Rossi (Argentina), Mirjiam Munzel (Germany), Karl Luchtmayer (UK) and Sonia Shirsat (India). This innovative project works as an educational, artistic and research project, and is the very first University Choir in India. The choir is conformed by students, members of the University community and the general public, all lovers of choral music and tradition of Western music. The choir has performed at festivals and music cycles in collaboration with renowned artists of national and international scene always getting excellent reviews. less
