Bridgnorth Choral Society setting the Festive Scene at Weston Park this Christmas

  • Bridgnorth Choral Society will be helping to create a truly special country house Christmas experience at Weston Park this festive season.
Guests will be greeted by the House Butler and then enjoy a Champagne Reception to the sound of ‘choirs singing’ with Christmas carols performed by Bridgnorth Choral Society in the grand Marble Halls. Diner will then be taken in the historic Dining Room where diners will enjoy an exquisite 4-course menu followed by coffee or something a little stronger in front of the Library fire.
Musical Director Derek Westwood said ‘the choral society feels privileged to be performing at such a special venue and being involved in what will be a magical Christmas experience for those attending’.
The Choral Society’s season culminates with a Christmas Carol service at 12 Noon in St Andrew's Church, Weston-under-Lizard on Sunday 23rd December with carols and nativity readings followed by the opportunity to wander through into the Victorian Orangery for a traditional Christmas 3-course Sunday Lunch with coffee and chocolate truffles. All proceedings from the carols and lunch experience will be donated to the St Andrew's Church Roof Fund.
Bridgnorth Choral Society’s own Christmas Concert takes place on Friday 7th December at Bridgnorth Baptist Church featuring ‘Encore’, Oldbury Wells School vocal group and includes carols and traditional seasonal classics to help get you in the mood for Christmas! Tickets are now on sale from ‘That’s Nice’ opposite Costa Coffee just off Bridgnorth High Street for £5.
