Bridgnorth Choral Society’s Christmas Concert with The Oldbury Wells Vocal Group ‘Encore’ is to be performed to a sell out crowd on Saturday 17th December at the Bridgnorth Baptist Church.
The venue’s capacity has been reached almost a month ahead of the event and Musical Director Derek Westwood says “this year’s tickets have flown out and unfortunately those who were hoping to pay on the door will be disappointed”.
‘Encore’ will be joining the Choral Society in a packed evening programme of carols and traditional classics, modern and old favourites as well as performing a showcase piece. For those unable to get tickets, there is another chance to see the Choral Society performing well known Christmas carols at the Apley Farm Shop between 4pm and 6pm on Saturday 10th December. The children can also enjoy a visit to Santa's Grotto, which will be open all day in Piggs Play Barn, whilst the adults can pick up some Christmas Shopping then indulge in a mulled wine & mince pie in the Creamery Cafe.
