The Fourth Choir (temporary name) will focus on performing great choral works - long and short, new and old, familiar and forgotten - and aim to sing at the highest competition standards and be semi-professional in a few years time.
We think that with all the interest around singing, both in the LGBT community and elsewhere, that now is an exciting time to start this project. All three existing LGBT choirs are at capacity and have waiting lists. The Fourth Choir will provide more spaces so that new singers can join the collective LGBT singing community and will also provide an alternative for those who want to challenge themselves to develop together into more advanced group of singers.
The mixed choir will start with at least 16 singers, and stay under a maximum of 40 singers. We will start rehearsals in September 2013 and are looking to fill all voice parts. Find out how to join us at www.thefourthchoir.com
