The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) is pleased to announce the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival, Manila, 2013, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, a resident company of the CCP.
The festival honors the founder of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, National Artist for Music, Professor Andrea O. Veneracion, an esteemed choirmaster and choral clinician who is instrumental in the promotion of choral music all over the country.
The competition is open to choirs which will qualify in the following categories:
Category A: Folk Music
Category B: Vocal Ensemble
Category C: Chamber Choir
