A sizzling mix of jazz, classical, gospel, and Broadway sung by three fantastic choirs makes this a night to remember!

This summer the Addison Singers have a great new format for their concert on 4th July at St. Andrew’s Church, London W14 (UK).  In a celebration of American Independence Day we are bringing together three of our choirs who usually sing separately, for a diverse concert of styles from classical to jazz. Including arrangements of old American songs by Copland and others, a beautiful Moses Hogan spiritual, the amusing “Animal Crackers” and “Seal Lullaby” by Eric Whitacre from our Oratorio and Chamber Choirs, through show tunes from the best years of Broadway from our Jazz Ensemble, the choirs join together for Sondheim’s stunning ‘Ballad of Sweeney Todd’ for a show stopping finale.  Put the date in your diary now!
