2 Choirs, 5 scholarships on offer

  2017 promises to be a fantastic year for The Major Minors Children's Choir based in New Zealand. The growing choir turns five this year and is looking for new members to join the fun. 

  
  

  Behind the scenes are qualified musicians who run the choir voluntarily and have lots of experience working with developing voices. 

  
  

  

   

   

  

   

   

  

   

   

  

  
  

  
  

  Performances are planned for Staglands (nature park), Golder's Cottage (turn of the century cottage), Competitions, Concerts locally and further afield. There are no auditions to join this choir, and there are also 5 year long scholarships currently available.

  The Major Minors also have an auditioned extension group for more musically experienced/capable singers - The Harmonic Minors. This group performs on their own and also gives vocal assistance to the Major Minors while providing the opportunity for leadership. Auditions are being held on Sunday 29 January at 4pm after the Major Minors rehearsal.
